Honor, the McCain Clan and Why the U.S.A. needs men like John McCain and Rob J King

Today, I write as a politician.

I neither wish to be, nor enjoy being political.

To be frank, teaching for a nice university somewhere (Grand Canyon University as Head of their Theology Department?) is what my heart would most want to do vocationally.

But instead, due to the rampant corruption in our society, men such as myself and such as John McCain must serve . . .

John McCain, the son of a four star admiral who headed all U.S. Military Forces at one point, and the grandson of another admiral (a WW II War Hero!), is a man who has never been one to accept the "prevailing norm."

Whether it was "bucking the system" at the U.S. Naval Academy due to what McCain perceived as innane practices of upperclassmen hazing OR whether it is "bucking the system" of a Republican Party that is no longer in support of Pro-Life Ethics (Giuliani and Swartzeneggar are both in favor of abortion!) and to be frank has been hi-jacked by a bunch of Right-Wing Extremists who hate Mexicans (again Giuliani and also Mitt Romney!), McCain instead offered a way forward for America by welcoming modest Mexican immigration along with a streamlined process for making them citizens.

Unlike the racists of the Republican Party (Giuliani and Romney) who seem to hate Mexicans McCain instead has stood firm for a moderate position regarding illegal immigration.

This is due to the HONOR of the McCain clan.

Although grandpa McCain was a bit of a gambler and Senator John McCain was quite the partying "Top Gun" naval aviator in his day (dating a Brazilian supermodel at one point!), the McCain Family has always stood for TRUTH.

Similarly, although my Father, a career Coast Guard man could drink 2 six packs of beer a night at one point (he was 6'3" and 250 pounds :-) I was instilled with the same type of HONOR as the Scots Family who I have grown to love and admire. A KING man would never speak ill of anyone. A KING man would NEVER tell a lie. A KING man would always give a hard day's worth of labor for an honest dollar.

Therefore, in this corrupt generation, a generation that has produced the Pat Tillman fratricide incident (complete with a 3 star general and 2 one star generals being censured!), a generation that has allowed babies to be murdered in the millions since 1973, a generation that produces pointless wars such as Vietnam and Iraq, a generation that fails to promote any vision of virtue, much less the Judeo-Christian MORAL CODE, it is time that "mavericks" such as John McCain and Rob J King, men of HONOR, men of TRUTH will be given the wheels of the Nation's highest office.

Karl Rove, are you listening? The future of Judeo-Christian America is at stake! Please do not send us anymore pseudo-Republicans such as Romney who hates Mexicans or Giuliani who is in favor of abortion.

The McCain Clan and the KING House are waiting.

Blessings in Jesus,
Rob J King for a New Judeo-Christian America

Hi Rob

Perhaps explain your comments about Pat Tillman. As I understand he was killed in the gulf and was raised as a hero who gave up fame and fortune of the NFL to serve his country?

All wars are basically pointless, but wars like Vietnam served America well, the cold war war was fought through these sorts of conflicts. So long as nuclear war never broke out and the war was away from continental USA or the Soviet Union the dogs of war were appeased. Russia had its fair share of expensive wars that it lost to. Loosing a war does not make it pointless.

Is Iraq the same sort of fight. Sacrifice some men and woman in Iraq so that the enemy (radical Islam in this case) fights you in Iraq and doesn't fly planes into any more buildings in side fortress USA?

Just stirring the hornets nest perhaps.

Nick,

VERY PROVACATIVE set of theses, many of which I think are likely TRUE!

First, yes, Pat Tillman was the NFL player who volunteered for combat duty as a show of patriotism, was shot by his own men, and then the Army (including a 3 star and two 1 star generals) tried to cover it all up!

Second, YES, the War against the former Soviet Union WAS fought in local theaters such as Vietnam, which in a twisted way, I guess, was better than a direct confrontation between two nuclear global super-powers!

Concerning Islam, however, the "war" is everywhere, but the situation in Iraq is a continual blood-letting for no reason. If we are there, we will be attacked. If we withdraw, then likely the nation will stumble together into some sort of more Islamic regime (Sadaam Hussein's former Iraqi government, although brutal, was officially secular).

My own worry is that since our intelligence agencies are OFTEN used for petty personal agendas, including partisan politics, that the TRUE threat of Islamic terrorists on our own soil is receiving less attention.

So . . .

Blessings in Jesus,
Rob

Didn't know that Pat Tillman was killed by "friendly fire" (not very friendly no matter who shoots it). Was this an accident or deliberate?

Cover ups are not good. Dishonour amongst soldiers is also not good?

Nick,

The Army claims that the fratricide was accidental. I am not sure.

Sadly, when we allow our soldiers to be practicing satanists, witches, you name it, then the result is that we are allowing people like the Columbine Killers (who also dabbled in the occult!) to supposedly "protect America." I am in favor of outlawing certain occultish religions, such as vodoo, santeria, wicca & satanism, but the Army seems to be mired in political correctness currently.

Blessings in Jesus,
Rob

The problem in society is that honesty is considered expendable, the end justifying the means and the end "n" star general is his career. We sacrifice honesty for a career and some PR so that budgets aren't slashed - worship of mamon rules the west, and once you stop worshiping God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit- to worship money, power, sex, pagan demons its all a down hill spiral.

Western culture also owes more to Greece than it does to its Judeo heritage. The Roman church took on the organs of state of the Roman Empire which took on the mantle of the fallen Greek empires. De-facto language of Rome was Greek, the way we think and express our thoughts is often governed by language and its usage. King David was contemporary of of the early Greek thinkers (approximately), yet other than the Psalms (mostly treated as poetry or song) how much has the thinking pervaded thought, contrast the Psalms with the works of Greece, there seems to be a completely different starting point.

I'd like us to reclaim some our Judeo heritage. The concepts of the whole nation taking responsibility for the wrong doings with in the nation, the sense of community and honour to God. God as the focus of life and more. I'm not talking about Judaising the Christian faith, Paul and Peter had that one out some 2000 years ago, but a re-establishment of our Judeo heritage.

You're astronomically political For someone who doesn't wish to be political.
We need a president with diplomatic skills. Peace on his mind. One who understands Islam. A candidate who answers to the American people, not just repetitive rhetoric.

I can't wait until this candidate process is over. I would like to hear clear steps that the candidates would take to solve our nations problems(i.e. social security, Iraq, global warming, economy). It is painful to hear the rhetoric candidates say of change, experience and the average american, or whichever demographic the candidates are speaking to.

oh, um. i think some people (above) would benefit from understanding separation of church and state. NO civilization has fallen because the majority of their society chose to not follow the judeo religions. In fact, it can be argued that judeo beliefs led to the fall of the roman empire.(Constantine converts rome)
Religious rituals and symbols should be kept out of politics. The wisdom and knowledge gained from religion should benefit the politician. Wisdom and knowledge does not contain semantics like whos god is right or who gods chosen people are.
