Can anyone remember Brian Bosworth? Brian Bosworth was this supposed "monster NFL Line backing prospect" with the body of a Pro Wrestler. It turns out, that's about the way he could play football at the Pro Level . . . LOUSILY!
How about Scottie Pippin?
Well, of course EVERYONE remembers Scottie Pippin NOW! Pippin was the dual-super star alongside of Michael Jordan who led the Chicago Bulls to their numerous NBA Championships. Scottie Pippin, however, was barely even noticed coming out of college basketball however . . .
Politically, does everyone remember the name "Gary Hart"? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Hart)
Hart was the Democratic front-runner in the bid for the White House. Now, he's a no-name, not even serving in political office.
Now, politically, has anyone ever heard of a man named George W. Bush?
Of all of the Bushes, George W. seemed least likely to succeed. A Failed Businessman, an alcoholic until Billy Graham converted him to Jesus, but NOW, he is a Two-Term President and will go down in U.S. History as one of the greatest war-time Presidents for how he responded swiftly, decisively and victoriously to the threat of Al Qaida.
Having what it takes to lead. This is something that is GOD-GIVEN. It cannot be bought. It cannot even be predicted. After all, Scottie Pippin was a college basketball no-name turned NBA super-star, and Brian Bosworth was a college football behemoth, who well, didn't quite make it.
So, what will 2008 bring us?
Mitt Romney vs. Hillary Clinton?
My own thoughts are that Mitt will end up as a Brian Bosworth and Hillary will end up as a Gary Hart . . .
But who will be the next George W.? Only the Mind of GOD knows . . .
Blessings in Jesus Christ, GOD-IN-THE-FLESH,
